Job Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits & Claims Officer to review, validate, and process benefit and claims applications in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role ensures timely and accurate claims handling while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Review the appropriateness of premiums and process payments for matured policies.
Ensure claims applications are processed and completed within 60 days from notification.
Follow up weekly on incomplete claims applications, maintaining evidence of all follow-up activities.
Review and process benefit and claims applications in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of all claims and benefits transactions.
Requirements:
HND or B.Sc. Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role within insurance or finance.
Professional certification such as CIIN is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of claims processing, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims efficiently.
