Job Description:

We are seeking an elite Insurance Sales Manager to spearhead our market expansion and lead a high-performing team of sales professionals. In the modern insurance landscape, success is driven by a blend of technical expertise, strategic market sourcing, and inspirational leadership.

In this role, you will be the architect of our sales strategy—setting ambitious objectives, training your team on complex product suites, and ensuring an exceptional customer relationship journey. We are looking for a veteran from the Insurance or Banking sectors who understands how to navigate financial regulations while hitting aggressive growth targets.

Requirements:

1. Sales Strategy & Market Engineering

  • Objective Setting: Define and execute clear sales goals, aligning team output with the company's long-term growth objectives.

  • Market Sourcing: Identify and penetrate new market segments through aggressive marketing plans and strategic networking.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Keep the team ahead of the curve by monitoring industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor product shifts.

2. Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Formidable Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a sales force that is result-oriented and passionate about client protection.

  • Technical Training: Conduct regular training sessions on insurance products, services, and advanced selling techniques.

  • Performance Coaching: Provide continuous feedback and motivational support, ensuring every team member is equipped to meet their override and commission targets.

3. Client Relationship & Portfolio Management

  • Service Excellence: Oversee the presentation of products to ensure clarity, professionalism, and high conversion rates.

  • Query Resolution: Act as an escalation point for complex customer queries, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.

  • Retention Strategy: Implement marketing strategies that not only acquire new policyholders but also ensure the long-term retention of the existing portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: HND, B.Sc., or equivalent degree.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in professional sales and leadership.

  • Industry Background: Previous experience in Insurance and Banking is highly preferred.

  • Competencies: Strong background in marketing and high-level customer relationship management.
