We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • The Showroom Assistant will assist the Showroom Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a high-end luxury furniture showroom.
  • The individual is responsible for creating an inviting showroom environment, hosting client meetings, and ensuring a premium customer experience.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated, and confident individual who can thrive in a dynamic and high-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to the core values of the organisation.
  • This role will report directly to the Showroom Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sales, Marketing)
  • 2+ years of experience in retail or showroom management, ideally in the furniture or luxury goods sector
  • Excellent customer management skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage and interact with high-end clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the furniture industry is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Experience in event management and coordination
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and showroom presentation
  • Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach
