Job Description:

• We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer with deep architectural knowledge of the payments ecosystem.
• In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-performance TPP (Third-Party Processor) applications.
• You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on ISO 8583 and PostBridge specifications, guiding the team in processing dual-message prepaid transactions while spearheading the expansion into debit card processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Architect and develop robust payment processing solutions using C++ and PL/SQL, ensuring low latency and high availability.
• Protocol Management: Expert-level handling of ISO 8583 and PostBridge protocols for precise message parsing and settlement.
• System Evolution: Lead the transition and feature expansion from prepaid-only to comprehensive debit card processing.
• Compliance & Security: Oversee the technical implementation of Visa/Mastercard mandates, ensuring full compliance with PCI DSS and TPP certification requirements.
• Automation & Optimization: Utilize Python and Bash to build advanced automation tools, reducing manual support overhead and optimizing system performance.
• Mentorship: Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering best practices in payment security and software design.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a specific focus on Banking or Fintech.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker / Kubernetes and real-time switching platforms.
• Core Stack: Expert proficiency in C++ and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Domain Expertise:
  • Proven track record as a Third-Party Processor (TPP) for Visa / Mastercard.
  • Deep knowledge of Dual Message processing (Authorization vs. Clearing).
  • Mastery of ISO 8583 messaging and PostBridge.
