Job Description:

Guest Services & Relationship Management

  • Check-In/Check-Out: Provide a warm and efficient welcome to all guests, managing the check-in and check-out process with professional speed and accuracy.

  • Reservation Management: Handle incoming inquiries and schedule guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.

  • Guest Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for guest needs, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.

Financial & Administrative Operations

  • Invoicing & Billing: Accurate preparation of guest invoices, processing payments (cash, POS, or transfers), and managing the front-office cash float.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and confidential guest records, ensuring all registration details are captured according to hotel policy.

  • Administrative Support: Handle general office tasks, including managing the switchboard, sorting mail, and coordinating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.

Requirements:

  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple guests and phone calls simultaneously without losing focus.

  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving guest complaints and operational hitches.

  • Professionalism: Maintaining a high standard of grooming and a calm demeanor under pressure.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in financial transactions and guest record entries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Possession of relevant qualifications (OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field).

  • Experience: Proven work experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality-based customer service role.

  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar software is a significant advantage.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone etiquette.
