Job Description:

Residency Hotels Limited is seeking a vibrant and professional Receptionist to join our premier F&B team in Abuja. This is a high-visibility role where you serve as the face of our Restaurant and Lounge. We are looking for an energetic "Front-of-House" professional who combines the warmth of traditional hospitality with the technical precision required for modern order management.

Your mission is to ensure that every guest’s journey—from the moment they walk through our doors to the moment their order is processed—is seamless, courteous, and efficient.

Requirements:

1. Guest Relations & Brand Ambassadorship

• Premier Welcoming: Greet every guest with exceptional courtesy and professionalism, setting the tone for an elite dining and lounge experience.

• Communication Excellence: Utilize strong English language skills to handle inquiries, manage reservations, and provide detailed information regarding our F&B offerings.

• Hygiene & Presentation: Maintain exemplary personal hygiene and a professional appearance, adhering to the high standards of Residency Hotels.

2. Digital Order Management & Workflow

• System Operations: Efficiently manage order processing through the hotel's computerized Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring zero errors in guest requests.

• Inter-departmental Coordination: Act as the liaison between the guest and the kitchen/bar staff to ensure orders are transmitted and fulfilled promptly.

• Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure that all billings and order entries are accurate, maintaining a high level of trustworthiness in financial transactions.

3. Operational Ethics & Energy

• Work Ethic: Demonstrate a robust and motivated approach to shift-based work, ensuring the reception desk is never unattended during peak hours.

• Team Collaboration: Support the broader F&B team in maintaining a clean, organized, and high-energy environment within the Restaurant and Lounge.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND).

• Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or front-desk role is preferred.

• Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language (verbal and written).

• Personal Attributes: Trustworthy, energetic, and highly motivated with a "customer-first" mindset.
