Job Description:
We are seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Receptionist to join our coworking community as a maternity cover. In this role, you are the "face" of the space—the first person our members and visitors see. You will balance traditional front-desk duties with community engagement, ensuring our workspace remains a productive and welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a service-oriented individual to gain experience in the fast-growing "flexible workspace" industry, with the potential for a contract extension based on performance.
Requirements:
1. Front Desk & Guest Experience
First Impressions: Provide a professional and enthusiastic welcome to all members, visitors, and guests.
Information Hub: Act as the primary source of information regarding our membership plans, meeting room bookings, and facility amenities.
Operational Flow: Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, organized, and reflects our brand’s professional standards.
2. Records & Administrative Support
Data Management: Maintain and update visitor logs, member databases, and operational records with high accuracy.
Logistics Support: Handle incoming calls, sort mail, and provide general administrative assistance to the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
3. Digital Engagement & Community Support
Social Media Assistance: Support the company’s digital presence by posting updates on Instagram and WhatsApp, ensuring timely responses to online enquiries.
Member Relations: Foster a positive community vibe by engaging with members and addressing their needs or feedback promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Education
Academic: Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification.
Background: Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or in a Customer Service role is highly preferred.
Technical: Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Email, and digital record-keeping).
Social Media: Familiarity with Instagram and WhatsApp for business communication is a strong plus.
Core Competencies
Communication: Clear, friendly, and professional verbal and written communication.
Presentation: A well-presented and professional appearance.
Reliability: Punctual and committed to maintaining a high standard of service.
Location Requirement
Residency: Preferred candidates must reside in Anthony Village or its immediate environs (Maryland, Gbagada, Shomolu) to ensure ease of commute.
