Job Description:

We are seeking a high-performance Construction Project Manager to lead and synchronize complex building and infrastructure projects across Nigeria. This is a critical leadership role designed for a professional who combines technical engineering mastery with the strategic oversight required to deliver large-scale developments on time and within budget.

You will be the primary authority on site, responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle—from interpreting complex AutoCAD/Revit designs to managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring uncompromising safety standards. Requirements:

1. Project Lifecycle & Strategic Planning

• Technical Orchestration: Interpret and implement high-level AutoCAD and Revit designs, ensuring all site activities align with architectural and structural specifications.

• Scheduling Excellence: Utilize Primavera P6 to develop, monitor, and optimize project timelines, identifying critical path risks before they impact delivery.

• Resource Optimization: Manage the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste on large-scale builds.

2. Site Governance & Quality Assurance

• Safety Leadership: Enforce strict HSE (NEBOSH/ISPON) standards, fostering a culture of "Zero Harm" across all project sites.

• Quality Control: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure that construction materials and workmanship meet national and international quality benchmarks.

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Serve as the central link between COREN-registered engineers, NIOB builders, and NIQS quantity surveyors to ensure technical and financial alignment.

3. Documentation & Stakeholder Management

• Progress Reporting: Maintain detailed site diaries and produce high-level progress reports for management and stakeholders.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with CORBON, COREN, and local planning authorities' regulations.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor site teams, resolving conflicts and maintaining high morale in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (2.2) in Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–10 years of proven site experience, preferably with a reputable tier-one construction firm.

• Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and construction drawings. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential for planning-focused roles.

Professional Certifications (Highly Valued)

• Engineering: COREN Registration.

• Building: NIOB / CORBON Registration.

• Surveying: NIQS Registration.

• HSE: NEBOSH, ISPON, or equivalent.

• Medical: Registered Nurse with an NMCN License (for specialized site safety/medical roles).

Personal Attributes

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage large, diverse teams across multiple sites.

• Resilience: Willingness to work on project sites across various locations in Nigeria under pressure.

• Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
