Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Procurement Personnel to ensure our hotel operations run seamlessly. In this role, you are the link between our operational departments and the supply chain. You will be responsible for balancing quality and cost-efficiency, ensuring our kitchen, housekeeping, and front office teams always have the materials they need to deliver a world-class guest experience.
Requirements:
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet reliable vendors for the full spectrum of hotel needs—from food and beverage (F&B) and linens to specialized equipment and cleaning supplies.
Negotiation & Contracting: Lead price negotiations and contract terms to maximize cost savings while strictly adhering to our quality standards.
Supply Chain Management: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from raising purchase orders to tracking delivery timelines and ensuring logistics are handled efficiently.
Inventory Oversight: Maintain real-time stock levels, preventing both the operational risk of "stock-outs" and the financial risk of "overstocking."
Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming goods to ensure they meet the specific standards required for hotel guests.
Financial Compliance & Reporting: Maintain transparent procurement records and ensure every transaction follows our internal financial and operational policies. You will provide management with regular reports on supplier performance and market price trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management—ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for cost-tracking and reporting).
Key Competencies:
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to influence suppliers and secure favorable terms.
Operational Awareness: A clear understanding of how supply chain delays directly impact guest satisfaction.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to forecast demand based on occupancy levels and historical usage patterns.
