Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and organized Procurement / Store Officer to maintain the integrity of our inventory and streamline our supply chain activities. You will be the primary custodian of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials are managed with precision, compliance, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Receiving & Inspection: Oversee the receipt, thorough inspection, and accurate documentation of all incoming materials and finished goods.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all stock items strictly meet laboratory specifications and are fit for intended use before acceptance.

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconciliation activities. Strictly enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory principles to ensure optimal stock rotation.

  • Stock Monitoring: Maintain constant oversight of stock levels. Proactively report potential stock-outs, discrepancies, or damaged goods to management immediately.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate accurate warehouse reports, maintain comprehensive inventory records, and handle all dispatch documentation for outbound activities.

  • Operational Flow: Coordinate the efficient issuance of stocks to requesting departments, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and authorized.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to maintain a clean, orderly, and highly functional storage environment.

  • Technical Precision: Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying quality specs against laboratory standards.

  • Reporting: Proficiency in basic data entry, warehouse management systems, and report generation.

  • Reliability: A proactive, honest, and disciplined approach to inventory control and asset protection.
