Job Description:
- Work with the teamlead to managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify price trends and analyze cost structures.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and track savings against budgets.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay informed about geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors that could impact procurement.
Requirements:
- Effective use of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable in data management
- Budget preparation experience.
- Highly skilled in negotiation and pricing, including business development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain or other related courses.
- Professional certification in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of which 1 year in similar position.
