Job Description:

• Work with the teamlead to managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
• Sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and timelines.
• Conduct market research to identify price trends and analyze cost structures.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and track savings against budgets.
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Stay informed about geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors that could impact procurement.

Requirements:

• Effective use of Microsoft Office. 
• Knowledgeable in data management
• Budget preparation experience.
• Highly skilled in negotiation and pricing, including business development
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain or other related courses. 
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.       
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of which 1 year in similar position.
