Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Strategic Marketing Specialist to serve as the growth engine for a leading beauty brand. In this role, you will be more than a marketer; you will be a business architect responsible for the intersection of brand storytelling, customer acquisition, and bottom-line profitability.

You will lead the charge in positioning our beauty products as market leaders in Lagos and beyond, leveraging data-backed insights to capture market share in a fast-evolving FMCG landscape. Requirements:

1. Integrated Brand Strategy & Market Positioning

• 360-Degree Campaigns: Design and execute end-to-end marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility across digital, retail, and experiential channels.

• Profitability Safeguarding: Develop growth tactics that drive high revenue while maintaining healthy margins and protecting the brand's premium or value-based positioning.

• Competitor Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis of the Nigerian beauty landscape to identify white-space opportunities for product innovation and market entry.

2. Customer Acquisition & Performance Marketing

• Full-Funnel Acquisition: Lead customer growth initiatives through a mix of influencer partnerships, social commerce, and high-conversion performance marketing.

• Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize web analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to monitor campaign performance, optimizing for Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).

• Retail Excellence: Partner with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts translate into "shelf-velocity" and secondary sales in beauty hubs and FMCG outlets.

3. Analytics, Reporting & Leadership

• Business Intelligence: Build and maintain simple yet effective BI dashboards to track revenue improvement and marketing ROI.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Product Development and Supply Chain teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with inventory levels and product launches.

• Market Expansion: Lead the strategic roadmap for expanding the brand's footprint across key Nigerian regions and international export markets.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Pedigree

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a Master’s Degree or MBA is highly preferred.

• Experience: 5–8 years of demonstrated leadership in sales and marketing within the Beauty, FMCG, or Consumer Goods sectors.

• Revenue Track Record: A proven history of delivering measurable customer growth and consistent revenue improvement in a competitive environment.

Core Competencies

• Technical Mastery: Hands-on expertise with modern marketing platforms (Meta Business Suite, Google Ads), web analytics (GA4), and BI reporting tools.

• Strategic Vision: Ability to translate complex market data into simple, actionable marketing plans.

• Beauty Industry IQ: Deep understanding of the specific dynamics of the Nigerian beauty consumer, including trends in skincare, cosmetics, or hair care.
