Job Description:
The Marketing Assistant provides vital daily administrative and operational support to the marketing department. This role bridges the gap between creative marketing ideas and everyday execution.
The position requires an organized and proactive professional who can handle multiple tasks smoothly. Responsibilities include managing databases, tracking social media and web analytics, writing marketing materials, and helping organize promotional events to expand the company's market presence.
Requirements:
A. Department Administration & Project Support
Handle daily administrative tasks to keep the marketing department running smoothly.
Support marketing executives in planning, organizing, and executing various projects and campaigns.
Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial data.
B. Market Research & Data Analytics
Conduct market research and analyze consumer questionnaires and rating reports.
Use marketing analytics tools to gather key data from social media, web traffic, and search engine rankings.
Monitor campaign performance data and organize metrics into clear reports for management review.
C. Content Creation & Marketing Literature
Compose and publish engaging online content across the company’s website and official social media accounts.
Write clear marketing materials—including brochures, newsletters, and press releases—to boost brand visibility.
Prepare and deliver clear promotional presentations for internal teams and client meetings.
D. Event Coordination & Client Relations
Assist in organizing traditional or digital promotional events and attend them to ensure success.
Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and partners to build and maintain trusting professional relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
Academic Background
Degree: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a strong advantage.
Experience Parameters
Track Record: Proven experience operating as a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Officer, or in a similar corporate marketing support role.
Work Management: Clear, demonstrable ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and meet strict deadlines.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Core Marketing Knowledge: Good understanding of office management principles and modern marketing methods.
Software Tool Stack: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic marketing computer software.
Digital Applications: Practical familiarity with online applications, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, web analytics, and Google AdWords.
Communication & Mindset: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, combined with an organized, customer-oriented approach.
