Job Description:

We are seeking a highly driven, commercially sharp, and versatile Sales/Marketing Coordinator to serve as a pivotal growth engine for our hospitality properties and dining outlets. In this role, you will hold a unique position that bridges external business development with internal operational excellence. You will not only spearhead targeted B2B corporate sales campaigns to fill our rooms and event spaces, but you will also step onto the floor to supervise our food, beverage, and leisure outlets.

The ideal candidate combines the strategic mindset of a corporate marketer with the practical, hands-on grit of an outlet manager, ensuring peak team performance, rigid cost control, and premium customer satisfaction score retention.

Requirements:

1. Corporate Business Development & Sales Velocity

  • B2B Partnership Cultivation: Proactively identify, pitch, and secure high-value corporate accounts, event planners, government parastatals, and long-stay client partnerships.

  • Cross-Service Sales Optimization: Formulate and execute aggressive sales strategies to maximize utilization and revenue across all hospitality assets, including rooms, conferencing halls, private events, and dining options.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Perform ongoing market trend analyses, guest sentiment tracking, and local competitor benchmarking to consistently adjust pricing architectures and promotions for maximum market share.

2. Outlet Supervision & Operational Excellence

  • Daily Floor Command: Oversee daily front-of-house operations across designated hospitality and F&B outlets to guarantee seamless service delivery, elite hygiene standards, and strict adherence to service SOPs.

  • Fiscal Cost Control: Monitor real-time inventory levels, track wastage metrics, audit daily POS transactions, and enforce strict portion or material controls to drive maximum outlet profitability.

  • Guest Escalation Management: Act as the senior authority on the floor for guest relations, swiftly resolving complex complaints and transforming service failures into positive, brand-loyal experiences.

3. Team Leadership & Talent Management

  • Performance Coaching: Directly supervise, motivate, and evaluate the sales team and outlet floor staff, embedding a customer-first, high-performance culture.

  • Labor Allocation: Coordinate shift schedules, assign daily floor duties, and facilitate continuous customer service and technical upsell training sessions for team members.

  • Inter-Departmental Synchronization: Foster crystal-clear, real-time communication bridges between the Sales, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Finance teams to ensure an unblemished guest journey.

4. Analytical Reporting & KPI Management

  • Data Synthesis: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive weekly and monthly sales forecasts, revenue velocity data, and expense tracking sheets to executive management.

  • Metric Accountability: Rigorously monitor core industry KPIs, including Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), average table spend, and net outlet margins.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Academic Foundation

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related commercial discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience & Proven Track Record

  • Domain Footprint: Minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable, progressive experience operating within hospitality sales, corporate accounts management, upscale restaurant management, or related hospitality supervisor roles.

  • Core Industry Literacy: Direct, hands-on exposure to standard hospitality workflows, banquet logistics, and floor hospitality operations is strictly required.

Technical Competencies

  • Software Tool Stack: High proficiency in standard business productivity software (Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) alongside deep familiarity with automated Point-of-Sale (POS) platforms and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

  • Commercial Skill Matrix: Advanced negotiation, contract closure, and high-value relationship management capabilities.
