Job Description:

• A manager in a security company is responsible for overseeing and implementing security measures to protect an organization's assets, employees, and operations.
• Key duties include developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments, managing security personnel through hiring and training, and coordinating responses to security incidents.
• They are also responsible for maintaining budgets, managing security systems like CCTV, and collaborating with law enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy and procedure development: Create, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the organization is protected against various threats.
• Personnel management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise security staff, manage their schedules, and monitor their performance.
• Risk management: Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
• Incident response: Coordinate and manage the response to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies, and lead investigations into incidents.
• Budget and resource management: Develop and manage the budget for security operations, and control spending.
• System oversight: Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Liaison and collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for security matters, liaising with internal departments, management, and external agencies such as local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and prepare reports for management on the status of security operations.
• Event security: Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events, such as conferences or VIP visits.
