Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Male Customer Service Representative to join our expanding cargo and logistics team. In the logistics world, speed and communication are the ultimate currencies. You will not just be "answering phones"; you will be the face of the brand, the engine of lead conversion, and the primary coordinator ensuring our clients' shipments move seamlessly from inquiry to delivery.
This role is for a proactive professional who doesn't wait to be told what to do. You must possess the "gift of gab" to persuade potential clients and the technical discipline to track shipments and follow up relentlessly. If you are target-driven and live within the Idimu-Ikotun axis, we want you to help us scale our logistics operations.
Requirements:
1. Lead Conversion & Persuasive Communication
Inquiry-to-Sale Transformation: Actively respond to inquiries across multiple channels, using strong persuasion skills to convert potential leads into active shipping orders.
Proactive Follow-up: Maintain a "no-lead-left-behind" policy, following up consistently with potential and existing clients to close deals and secure repeat business.
Service Advocacy: Educate customers on our diverse cargo solutions, providing accurate quotes and transit timelines that align with their business needs.
2. Logistics Coordination & Relationship Management
Seamless Orchestration: Liaise between customers and the operations/warehouse teams to ensure that pick-ups, documentation, and deliveries are handled without friction.
Modern Tools Utilization: Use modern communication platforms and CRM tools to maintain a professional and responsive service standard.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve potential shipping delays or documentation errors before they impact the customer experience.
3. Performance & Results Tracking
Target Achievement: Work toward weekly and monthly conversion and revenue targets, maintaining a results-oriented mindset at all times.
Data Integrity: Ensure that all customer records, shipment details, and transaction history are accurately captured in our systems.
Feedback Stewardship: Collect customer feedback to help management improve our service offerings and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English with a natural ability to persuade and negotiate.
Mindset: Highly proactive; you must be someone who takes ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
Tech Literacy: Basic computer proficiency (Email, Excel, and Messaging apps).
Location: Must reside within Idimu, Ikotun, or the immediate surrounding areas in Lagos State.
