Job Description:
Are you a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment? We are seeking a dedicated F&B Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you are the face of our outlet—responsible for delivering seamless dining experiences, from the moment a guest is seated to the final processing of their bill. You will blend technical precision in table service with a proactive approach to upselling and guest satisfaction. Requirements:
1. Service Execution & Standards
Operational Readiness: Prepare the outlet for service, including table settings, polishing glassware, and ensuring the service station is fully stocked.
Service Flow: Deliver food and beverages according to established standards, prioritizing speed and accuracy for both dining room and room service orders.
Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, clearing tables promptly and resetting them to ensure a continuous flow of guests.
2. Guest Engagement & Revenue Growth
Product Expertise: Maintain total familiarity with the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and daily specials to provide informed recommendations.
Strategic Upselling: Actively suggest pairings and premium items to maximize guest satisfaction and outlet revenue.
Special Requests: Demonstrate flexibility in handling special dietary needs or guest preferences with a "can-do" attitude.
3. Financial Accuracy & Reporting
POS Governance: Utilize the Point-of-Sale (POS) system with precision, ensuring all orders, voids, and corrections are recorded according to company procedure.
Billing Integrity: Handle guest invoices and payments professionally, ensuring accuracy and high-quality service during the checkout process.
Shift Coordination: Report to the Supervisor for daily briefings on menu changes, floor assignments, and guest feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
Academic & Residential Criteria
Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND).
Location: Mandatory residency within the Akute, Ojodu, Ikeja, Agege, or Ogba axis. (Please do not apply if you live outside these areas).
Core Competencies
Hospitality Mindset: A proactive approach to guest needs and a commitment to presentation guidelines.
Technical Skill: Experience with POS systems and standard food/beverage service sequences.
Communication: Clear verbal skills to explain menu items and handle guest complaints or instructions from supervisors.
Stamina: Ability to handle opening/closing duties and remain on your feet during busy shifts.
