Job Description:

We are seeking a high-performance Production Manager to lead the end-to-end manufacturing and innovation lifecycle of our premium health-focused brand. In this role, you will be the bridge between culinary creativity and industrial efficiency. Your mandate is twofold: ensuring the flawless daily production of our healthy shakes, coffee, and energy bars, while aggressively driving revenue through product improvement and recipe innovation. We are looking for a leader who doesn't just manage a floor, but optimizes yield, cost efficiency, and scale-up speed to directly impact our bottom line.

Requirements:

1. Operational Excellence & Scaling

  • Production Architecture: Plan and oversee daily operations for energy bars, shakes, and coffee, ensuring 100% consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.

  • Agile Scheduling: Manage complex production schedules to meet market demand while maintaining a "Zero-Waste" philosophy.

  • Scale-up Management: Support rapid revenue growth by lead-timing the scale-up of high-demand products without compromising quality.

2. R&D and Revenue Optimization

  • Recipe Engineering: Develop, test, and standardize new formulations that align with current wellness trends and nutritional benchmarks.

  • Cost-Efficiency Modeling: Audit and improve existing recipes to enhance taste and shelf life while reducing production costs.

  • Market-Driven Innovation: Identify and launch new product formats or variants (e.g., seasonal flavors, travel packs) that open new sales channels.

3. Quality Governance & Resource Management

  • SOP Development: Establish and document rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure every product meets premium brand standards.

  • Inventory Stewardship: Manage the procurement and storage of raw ingredients and packaging supplies, optimizing stock levels to prevent capital tie-up.

  • Hygiene & Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards across all production lines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience & Academic Background

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or a related technical field.

  • Tenure: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in production management or supervision.

  • Industry Focus: Direct experience with energy bars, beverages, or consumables is essential.

  • Startup Agility: Proven experience in scaling production for growing brands or fast-moving startups.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Profitability: The ability to link production decisions (yield, batch size, ingredient sourcing) with company revenue.

  • Leadership: Strong ability to supervise, train, and enforce accountability within a diverse production team.

  • Technical Palate: A deep understanding of flavor profiles, nutritional chemistry, and shelf-life preservation.
