Job Description:

We are looking for a vibrant and professional Guest Service Associate to be the heartbeat of our dining floor. This role is for a dedicated service professional who understands that great dining is about more than just delivering food—it is about creating an atmosphere of hospitality. You will be responsible for the "Guest Journey," from the initial polite welcome to the accurate and timely service of our culinary offerings. Requirements:

1. Service Excellence & Order Accuracy

• The Welcome: Greet and attend to guests with a high level of politeness and professional warmth, setting the tone for their visit.

• Precision Ordering: Take food and beverage orders with 100% accuracy, ensuring special dietary requests or preferences are clearly communicated to the kitchen.

• Timely Delivery: Coordinate with the kitchen to serve meals and beverages at the peak of freshness, maintaining a seamless flow of service.

2. Guest Relations & Issue Resolution

• Proactive Engagement: Anticipate guest needs before they arise, ensuring water glasses are filled and tables are maintained throughout the meal.

• Professional Diplomacy: Handle customer requests and complaints with a solution-oriented mindset, escalating to management only when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Hygiene Standards: Maintain a clean work station and ensure your personal appearance meets our high standards of professional grooming.

3. Team Collaboration & Operations

• Kitchen Synergy: Work closely with the culinary team to understand daily specials and ensure the "Table-to-Kitchen" communication loop is airtight.

• Operational Flexibility: Support opening and closing duties and remain flexible to work shifts that include weekends and busy holiday periods.

• Integrity & Punctuality: Maintain a flawless record of attendance and honesty in all financial and guest interactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Academic & Experience Foundation

• Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).

• Experience: Previous experience as a waiter or server is a significant advantage, particularly in high-volume or premium dining environments.

Core Competencies

• Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hygiene: A strong commitment to personal hygiene and a neat, professional appearance.

• Work Ethic: Honest, punctual, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
