Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Head of Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our asset management firm. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the "Zero-Error" execution of our financial lifecycle.

You will lead the back-office engine—overseeing trade settlements, fund accounting, and complex reconciliations—while ensuring every transaction aligns with strict regulatory frameworks. We are looking for a process architect who can bridge the gap between front-office ambition and back-office precision, leveraging technology to drive automation and operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. End-to-End Operational Lifecycle

• Back-Office Stewardship: Oversee the full trade lifecycle, including settlement, fund accounting, and daily reconciliations, ensuring the total integrity of our portfolio data.

• Front-to-Back Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between front-office traders and back-office execution teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless transaction flows.

• Process Engineering: Design and maintain robust operational controls to eliminate manual errors and mitigate financial risks.

2. Compliance, Risk & Governance

• Regulatory Rigor: Ensure all operational activities comply with industry standards and SEC/local regulatory requirements.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage operational risks, including technology failures, fraud detection, and settlement failures.

• Audit Leadership: Collaborate with risk and audit teams to implement recommendations and maintain "audit-ready" documentation at all times.

3. Systems Optimization & Tech Leadership

• Digital Transformation: Partner with IT and vendors to enhance portfolio management software and reconciliation platforms.

• Automation Drive: Identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with automated solutions to increase productivity and accuracy.

• Project Management: Lead high-impact operational projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and process redesigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Advanced degrees or certifications (CFA, ACCA, CIMA) are a significant advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in financial operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role specifically within asset management.

• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial instruments, trade settlement cycles, and fund accounting principles.
