Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Head of Financial Control (CFO-track) to serve as the strategic architect of our organization’s future. Based in Anambra, this is a high-stakes leadership role designed for a "Financial Engineer"—someone who balances aggressive expansion strategies with the defensive resilience required to survive global market volatility.

Your mission is to ensure the company possesses the capital to scale while maintaining a "Zero-Fragility" financial structure. You will lead high-level Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) appraisals and manage a sophisticated Commodity Hedging portfolio to protect our margins against price spikes in raw materials like copper and aluminum. If you have the professional courage to steer capital allocation and the technical depth to navigate financial derivatives, we want you to lead our fiscal strategy.

Requirements:

1. Capital Architecture & Strategic Allocation

• Growth Engineering: Evaluate and stress-test expansion strategies, providing the financial roadmap for capacity building and new market entry.

• Capital Structure Optimization: Determine the ideal mix of debt, equity, and internal reserves to fund operations while aggressively minimizing the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC).

• CAPEX Governance: Lead the appraisal and approval process for large-scale Capital Expenditure, ensuring every investment aligns with long-term ROI benchmarks.

2. Industrial Risk & Commodity Hedging

• Derivative Management: Mitigate the risk of price volatility in essential raw materials (Copper, Aluminum, Compounds) using financial derivatives, forward contracts, and strategic forecasting.

• Margin Protection: Design and implement hedging frameworks that "lock in" input costs, ensuring predictable profitability despite global commodity market spikes.

• Forecasting Excellence: Utilize advanced financial modeling to predict market trends and adjust the organization’s risk posture accordingly.

3. Resilience & Long-Term Stewardship

• Volatility Management: Build financial buffers and liquidity structures that ensure organizational survival during periods of high market turbulence.

• Profitability Mapping: Define and execute a clear path to sustainable, long-term profitability through disciplined fiscal control and performance monitoring.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 8 to 10 years in senior finance leadership roles (e.g., Financial Controller, Finance Director, or Head of Finance).

• Certification (MANDATORY): Must hold a recognized professional certification: ACCA, CPA, or CMA.

• Sector Expertise: Proven experience in industrial finance, manufacturing, or sectors requiring heavy commodity management.
