Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned, commercially astute, and visionary General Manager to take absolute executive ownership of our hospitality property. Operating as the primary custodian of brand excellence and asset profitability, you will direct all operational, commercial, and administrative facets of the hotel—bridging the gap between high-level investment objectives and daily guest experiences.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Executive Leadership & Property Governance

  • 360° Operational Command: Provide overarching administrative leadership across all primary hotel departments—including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering/Maintenance, Security, and Human Resources.

  • Service Standardization: Formulate, roll out, and continuously audit robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring the service touchpoints consistently mirror premier hospitality benchmarks.

  • Talent Engineering: Recruit, mentor, and structurally develop a high-performing management committee, installing clear accountability frameworks and succession pipelines across all operational lines.

2. Commercial Engineering & Revenue Management

  • Top-Line Revenue Velocity: Partner with internal Sales & Marketing teams to design and execute data-driven corporate booking strategies, experiential leisure packages, and high-yield event catering drives.

  • Dynamic Pricing Optimization: Monitor regional market trends, competitive indices, and seasonal demand metrics to implement agile room-rate algorithms.

    Stakeholder Relations: Build and protect critical institutional networks with corporate clients, destination travel agencies, vendors, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.

3. Financial Management & P&L Accountability

  • Fiscal Optimization: Construct, present, and manage the hotel’s annual operational and capital expenditure.

  • Cost Minimization Systems: Implement rigid internal expenditure controls and payroll optimization models to manage variable costs without degrading the luxury guest experience.

  • Forensic Performance Auditing: Evaluate weekly and monthly financial performance data, performing comprehensive variance diagnostics to isolate operational waste and adjust procurement strategies.

4. Risk Management, Asset Protection & HSE Compliance

  • Property Care & Upkeep: Oversee comprehensive preventative maintenance programs across our physical facilities, plant machinery, guest rooms, and structural assets to preserve property value.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee full, uncompromised alignment with national public health mandates, hospitality laws, fire protection standards, and corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Academic Anchors

  • Degree Framework: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related commercial/quantitative discipline from an accredited institution is highly preferred.

Experience Parameters & Proven Track Record

  • Domain Longevity: 7 to 10 years of progressive, verifiable experience operating within the hospitality management field.

  • Senior Command Footprint: Must possess a minimum of four (4) years of direct experience operating as a Hotel General Manager, Resident Manager, or in an equivalent Senior Operations Lead capacity.

  • Property Blueprint Mastery: Demonstrable history of successfully managing a structured, full-service hotel facility (including active multi-outlet F&B operations, multi-room inventories, and corporate event spaces).

N400,000 - N800,000 / Month.
