Job Description:

We are seeking an upright, professional, and highly capable Front Desk Personnel to serve as the face and voice of our organization. In this role, you are the first point of contact for our clients and partners, requiring a rare blend of impeccable character, "grace under pressure," and sharp administrative skills. You will be responsible for managing the reception area, coordinating high-level communications, and ensuring that every visitor’s first impression reflects our commitment to excellence and integrity.

Requirements:

1. Professional Lobby Governance

  • First Impression Management: Greet and direct visitors with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring that the reception area remains pristine and welcoming.

  • Access Control: Maintain an accurate visitor log and uphold security protocols to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.

  • Information Hub: Serve as the primary source of information for general inquiries, providing accurate details about our services and departments.

2. Communication & Switchboard Mastery

  • Call Management: Efficiently manage a multi-line telephone system, routing calls to the appropriate departments and taking accurate messages when necessary.

  • Correspondence Hub: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers, ensuring items reach the correct internal stakeholders promptly.

  • Digital Literacy: Utilize email and basic office software to draft professional responses and manage the reception calendar.

3. Administrative & Executive Support

  • Appointment Coordination: Manage the booking of meeting rooms and coordinate schedules for the executive team as required.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain up-to-date filing systems and digital databases for client contacts and visitor history.

  • Operational Assistance: Support other departments with basic administrative tasks, such as scanning, printing, or organizing internal office events.

Qualifications and Skills:

Character & Soft Skills

  • Upright Integrity: High moral standing; you are trusted with sensitive information and the "first look" of the company.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; ability to remain polite even with difficult visitors.

  • Emotional Intelligence: Capable of reading the room and adjusting your approach to suit various types of guests.

Technical Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of an OND or B.Sc. in a related field.

  • IT Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience: Prior experience in a front desk, hospitality, or customer service role is highly desirable.

₦50,000 - ₦100,000/month
