Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and polished Front Desk Manager to lead our front-of-house team at our Oniru property. In this role, you will be the custodian of the guest experience, ensuring that every interaction from the initial reservation to the final check-out is seamless, professional, and aligned with our luxury service standards. You will lead a high-performing team and work cross-functionally to drive revenue and maintain operational excellence.
Requirements:
Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily Front Office operations, including reception, reservations, and guest relations. You are responsible for ensuring staff adhere to grooming, service, and professional standards at all times.
Guest Experience Management: Manage VIP arrivals, complex guest requests, and service recovery for any complaints. Your goal is to consistently exceed guest expectations.
Revenue Optimization: Drive upselling strategies to increase room revenue. Monitor room availability, status, and occupancy levels with precision.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between the Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and F&B departments to ensure the hotel operates as a cohesive unit.
Administrative Oversight: Monitor billing accuracy, night audit procedures, and prepare comprehensive daily occupancy and operational reports.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff. Conduct regular departmental briefings to ensure the team is aligned on daily goals and service standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Front Office operations specifically within the hotel industry.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Hotel Management Software (PMS).
Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional, customer-focused demeanor under pressure.
Problem-Solving: Decisive and calm when handling emergency situations or operational bottlenecks.
