Job Description:
Financial Management & Operations
Regional Oversight: Manage all financial operations, including bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and daily expenditure tracking.
Payment Processing: Direct the processing of payments, manage regional imprests and staff advances, and ensure every transaction is backed by proper authorization and documentation.
Asset & Record Governance: Maintain meticulous financial records, filing systems, and an updated regional asset register to ensure 100% audit readiness.
2. Grant Management & Donor Compliance
Budget Monitoring: Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved workplans and specific donor agreements.
Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to PPFN financial policies, donor-specific mandates (e.g., UN, International NGOs), and Nigerian tax laws.
Reporting: Produce timely and accurate financial reports for donors and senior management, providing data-driven insights for project course correction.
3. Programme Support & Capacity Building
Cost Control: Support programme teams with financial planning, budget utilization tracking, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving.
Clinical Accountability: Provide financial mentorship to clinic managers and project staff to strengthen accountability at the service delivery point.
Audit Leadership: Coordinate regional financial audits and resolve audit queries in proactive collaboration with the National Finance Team.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance. (Master’s degree or professional certification like ICAN/ANAN is a major advantage).
Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 years specifically within an NGO or donor-funded environment.
Technical Depth: Proven experience managing multi-project/multi-funding sources in a regional or field office setting.
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Software Mastery: High proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions) and professional accounting/ERP software.
