Job Description:

We are seeking an analytical, hands-on, and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across our group entities. In this role, you will be more than just a bookkeeper; you will be the cornerstone of our financial control, reporting, and commercial strategy. If you have a proven ability to maintain rigorous financial discipline, leverage cloud-based accounting systems, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership, this is an ideal role for you.

Requirements:

• Financial Control: Manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring robust internal controls and accuracy across all group companies.

• Reporting & Analytics: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidated group reports, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.

• Statutory Compliance: Manage all tax, audit, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our group remains compliant with Nigerian statutory obligations.

• System Optimization: Leverage your proficiency in Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks alongside advanced Excel modeling to create high-visibility finance dashboards for management.

• Commercial Strategy: Partner with the executive team to support commercial decision-making, drive cost-optimization initiatives, and execute effective financial planning.

• Team Leadership: Oversee the finance function, fostering a culture of accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior-level capacity.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Deep operational experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with payroll systems/finance dashboards.

• Leadership & Advisory: Strong ability to act as a key financial advisor to executive leadership, translating complex data into simple, impactful business advice.

• Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of maintaining financial integrity across multiple business entities simultaneously.
