Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Internal Control Officer to fortify our internal processes and safeguard our organizational assets. You will serve as a critical line of defense, monitoring operational and financial activities to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and enhance overall business efficiency. Requirements:

• Process Oversight: Design, implement, and continuously monitor internal control systems to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Audit Execution: Conduct regular financial and operational audits to verify process accuracy and efficiency.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify control gaps and operational risks, providing actionable recommendations for process improvement.

• Investigation & Reporting: Investigate discrepancies, potential fraud risks, or control breaches. Prepare comprehensive audit and control reports for management review.

• Documentation: Ensure rigorous record-keeping and standardized documentation across all departments.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departmental heads to enforce best practices and foster a culture of compliance and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in internal control, audit, or compliance roles.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Solid understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

• Attributes:

  • High level of personal and professional integrity.

  • Strong analytical skills with an uncompromising attention to detail.

• Advantageous: Possession of a professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) will be considered a significant plus.
