Job Description:

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, reconciliation, and cash flow management.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, NDPR, IFRS, and other statutory requirements.
• Partner with business and product leads to evaluate financial performance of projects and new initiatives.
• Support fundraising and investor relations with financial models and due diligence documents.
• Monitor unit economics and margins for e-commerce and financial service offerings.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team.

Requirements:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience in e-commerce, payments, fintech, or marketplace environments.
• Proven ability to set up and lead a finance function in a scaling company.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001/22301 financial controls a plus).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High integrity, accountability, and leadership qualities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA) strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years’ progressive experience in finance/accounting roles.
• At least 3-5 years in a Finance Lead/Finance Manager role.
• Experience working in high-growth e-commerce, payments, or financial services companies.
