Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and organized Administrative Accountant to join our team at Sangotedo, Lagos. This role is a unique hybrid, requiring the technical skill of an accountant and the organizational efficiency of an office administrator. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial records—from payroll to expense tracking—while maintaining the administrative systems that keep our operations running smoothly. Requirements:
1. Financial Accounting & Records Management
Bookkeeping: Manage and reconcile all accounting records, ensuring daily transactions are captured accurately.
Transaction Lifecycle: Handle the issuance of invoices, track vendor payments, and maintain a rigorous system for expense tracking.
Payroll Administration: Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time while maintaining statutory compliance.
Audit Support: Organize and provide all necessary financial documentation to support management during internal or external reviews.
2. Administrative Coordination
Documentation & Filing: Design and maintain a robust physical and digital filing system for all company contracts, receipts, and correspondence.
Office Support: Assist management in drafting professional memos, reports, and handling routine administrative inquiries.
Workflow Management: Ensure that administrative processes (such as procurement requests and staff records) are followed consistently.
3. Operational Reporting
Expense Analysis: Provide weekly or monthly reports on operational spending to identify areas for cost-saving.
Inventory Liaison: Work closely with the production team to ensure that expenditures related to raw materials (preforms, caps, labels) are properly documented.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: HND or B.Sc. in Accounting or a related discipline.
Proven Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a combined accounting and administrative role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel for ledger management and Word for report writing).
