We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee all financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports in line with IFRS.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory taxes.
• Manage budgets, monitor variances, and support strategic financial planning.
• Oversee payroll computation, statutory deductions, and compliance with labour laws.
• Implement internal controls, detect financial risks, and prevent fraud.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
• Monitor costs, provide financial analysis, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Prepare invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Provide financial insights and advisory support to management.

Requirements:

• BSc or HND in Accounting.
• Professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior accounting role.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector is desirable.
• Must have a clean professional record with no history of fraud or misconduct.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong budgeting and cost management skills.
• Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with financial management software (e.g. Sage).
• In-depth understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements (FIRS, State IRS, CAMA, Finance Acts, CBN, SEC).
• Knowledge of payroll administration, pension, NHF, and statutory deductions.
• Knowledge of Sage Application will be an added advantage.
