A Print and Plastic Company is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Maintenance Engineer is the strategic lead for machine reliability within the Plastic Section.
• Your mission is to maximize the Lifecyle and "Up-time" of injection moulding assets.
• You will oversee the integration of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems, moving the department from reactive repairs to a sophisticated Preventive and Predictive Maintenance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrated System Maintenance: Oversee the holistic maintenance of injection moulding machines, ensuring mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems work in perfect synchronization.
• TPM Implementation: Develop and lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Complex Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier-2 technical lead for diagnosing complex "ghost" failures that cross both mechanical and electrical boundaries.
• Hydraulic Precision: Manage the maintenance of proportional valves, servo-pumps, and high-pressure seals to ensure consistent injection speed and pressure.
• Automation & Calibration: Ensure all machine sensors (pressure transducers, linear scales, thermocouples) are calibrated to maintain product weight and dimensional accuracy.
• Spare Parts Management: Develop a critical spare parts inventory (screws, barrels, PLC modules, hydraulic kits) to ensure rapid recovery during breakdowns.
• Facility Engineering: Oversee the maintenance of auxiliary systems, including central chilling plants, high-pressure air compressors, and material conveying systems.
• Leadership & Training: Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics, providing technical mentorship and enforcing strict Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Should be 24 - 40 years of age.

Qualifications and Skills:

• BSc, HND, or OND qualification or related field experience
