A Print and Plastic Company is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the electrical integrity, automation, and power distribution systems within the Plastic Production Section.
• You will ensure maximum machine uptime by managing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting sophisticated control systems, and optimizing the power consumption of high-capacity industrial heaters and motors.

Key Responsibilities

• PLC & Automation: Diagnose and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) to resolve logic errors and production glitches.
• Drive & Motor Control: Maintain and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), AC/DC motors, and servo drives used in high-precision moulding processes.
• Heating & Temperature Control: Oversee the maintenance of induction heating bands, thermocouples, and PID temperature controllers essential for plastic melting and shaping.
• Control Panel Management: Design, wire, and maintain electrical control panels, ensuring all contactors, relays, and circuit breakers are functioning within load limits.
• Power Distribution: Manage the factory’s electrical load distribution, including transformers, switchgears, and stabilizers to protect sensitive electronic components.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute a rigorous electrical maintenance schedule to prevent component burnout caused by the high-heat environment of the plastic section.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on electrical failures to implement permanent corrective actions and reduce recurring downtime.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations adhere to international safety standards, including proper grounding (earthing) and surge protection.

Requirements:

• BSc, HND, or OND qualification or related field experience.
