Job Description:

We are seeking a competent and highly skilled Electrical Electronics Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our production efficiency, responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and precision maintenance of complex industrial machinery and automation systems. You will bridge the gap between electrical power and electronic control, ensuring that our PLC systems, drives, and sensors operate at peak performance.

The ideal candidate is a diagnostic expert who thrives in a manufacturing environment and possesses the technical rigor to resolve high-stakes automation faults with minimal downtime.

Requirements:

Machine Maintenance & Fault Diagnosis

• Advanced Repair: Diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic faults on industrial production equipment to ensure continuous operations.

• Automation Oversight: Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, and automated control panels.

• Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor machine performance to identify potential failures before they result in costly downtime.

Electrical Systems & Installation

• Infrastructure Management: Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, distribution panels, and sophisticated machine controls.

• Calibration: Support machine setup and calibration to ensure maximum operational accuracy and efficiency.

• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret intricate electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to guide repair activities.

Preventive Care & Compliance

• Maintenance Scheduling: Execute rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all electrical and electronic systems.

• Safety & Standards: Ensure all technical works comply with company safety protocols and international industrial maintenance standards.

• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all repairs, maintenance activities, and component replacements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Qualification: HND, B.Sc., or Advanced Technical Certification in Electrical Electronics Engineering or a related field.

• Core Experience: Proven hands-on experience working with industrial machinery, PLCs, and high-speed automation systems.

• Sector Knowledge: Prior experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is a significant advantage.

Technical Competencies

• PLC Expertise: Strong ability to diagnose and maintain programmable logic controllers and automation software.

• Diagnostic Skills: Expert-level fault-finding capabilities across both electrical power systems and electronic control circuits.

• System Understanding: Deep knowledge of electrical control panels, industrial sensors, and motor drives.
