Job Description:

We are seeking a technically sophisticated and collaborative Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team in Victoria Island. In the heart of Lagos’s tech hub, software excellence is defined by the intersection of high-performance code and robust security. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect", a professional with at least 4 years of experience who can blend deep C# expertise with the agility required for hybrid team collaboration.

Your mission is to ensure "Scalable Infrastructure and Engineering Excellence." You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle: from architecting complex back-end services and managing API integrations to mentoring junior developers and maintaining the integrity of our codebase. Requirements:

1. Full-Stack Engineering & .NET Ecosystem

• C# & .NET Core Mastery: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using the latest .NET frameworks, ensuring code is efficient, testable, and maintainable.

• Microservices & API Architecture: Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support high-traffic applications and seamless third-party integrations.

• Database Governance: Design and manage complex SQL/NoSQL database schemas, ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and efficient indexing.

2. DevOps & Engineering Lifecycle

• CI/CD Integration: Work within modern DevOps pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases.

• Code Review & Quality: Lead peer code reviews to enforce engineering standards, identify security vulnerabilities, and ensure optimal system performance.

• Hybrid Team Synergy: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and QA) in a hybrid work model, maintaining clear documentation and high communication standards.

3. Systems Integrity & Security

• Security Protocol Implementation: Ensure all applications adhere to the highest security standards, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and encryption protocols.

• Conduct & Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professional conduct, acting as a technical role model within the team and contributing to a positive, collaborative engineering culture.

• Technical Debt Management: Proactively identify and resolve technical debt to ensure the long-term scalability and stability of the platform.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in .NET development, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications.

• Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue).
