Performance Monitoring: Support the senior tech team in monitoring database response times and identifying slow-running queries that need optimization.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for database processes, schemas, and data entry protocols to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved.
3. Systems Security & Maintenance
Backup Protocols: Assist in the execution and verification of regular database backups to ensure data can be recovered in the event of a system failure.
Access Management: Support the monitoring of user access logs and permissions to ensure data security and prevent unauthorized modifications.
Infrastructure Support: Provide ad-hoc support for data-related tasks, including migration assistance or software updates for the database environment.
