Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically versatile IT Support Specialist to serve as the backbone of our corporate technology environment. In a modern distributed workplace, IT is no longer just about "fixing computers", it is about ensuring the seamless integration of hardware, local networks, and cloud ecosystems. This role is designed for a "Systems Orchestrator", a professional with 3+ years of experience who can manage a diverse Windows/Mac fleet while governing a high-performance Google Cloud environment.

Your mission is to ensure "Operational Continuity and Data Integrity." You will be responsible for the entire internal technology lifecycle: from onboarding new talent with high-spec workstations to enforcing robust cybersecurity policies and managing complex cloud permissions. If you possess "Analytical Grit" and the ability to translate complex technical hurdles into clear solutions for non-technical users, we want you to drive our digital excellence.

Requirements:

1. Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Governance

  • Google Cloud Stewardship: Manage and maintain the organization’s Google Cloud environment, optimizing for performance while ensuring rigorous security configurations.

  • Access Control: Architect and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (IAM), ensuring that every employee has exactly the tools they need—and nothing they don't.

  • Network Integrity: Monitor and troubleshoot core network technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN tunnels, to ensure secure, uninterrupted connectivity for remote and onsite teams.

2. Hardware Lifecycle & Deployment Excellence

  • Workstation Provisioning: Lead the configuration and deployment of Windows and Mac workstations, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring every "Digital Desk" is ready for day-one productivity.

  • Software Management: Oversee the automated deployment of software applications and critical security updates, minimizing downtime and vulnerability gaps.

  • Procurement & Asset Tracking: Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware and software inventory, ensuring the team is always equipped with modern, functional tools.

3. Security Advocacy & Technical Support

  • Cybersecurity Enforcement: Develop and implement Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) and monitor network security to protect the confidentiality and integrity of company data.

  • Tiered Support: Provide timely, high-empathy technical support via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software friction with a "Customer-First" mindset.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Conduct user training sessions and develop clear, searchable documentation to empower employees to troubleshoot common technological challenges independently.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 3+ years in a corporate IT support role.

  • OS Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of both Windows and macOS environments.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and Office 365 integration.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Grit: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying systemic IT risks before they cause downtime.

  • Communication Mastery: The ability to explain complex network or cloud concepts to non-technical stakeholders with professional diplomacy.

  • Technical Breadth: Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN configurations, and IT security best practices.
