Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and technically rigorous IT & Network Support Manager to serve as the primary architect of our digital connectivity in Lagos. In a high-velocity business environment, the stability of the LAN, WAN, and telephony systems is the foundation of all operational success. This role is designed for a "Systems Guardian", a professional with 3–5 years of experience who can blend hands-on hardware maintenance with the strategic oversight required to optimize complex network topologies.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Downtime Connectivity." You will be responsible for the entire IT lifecycle: from configuring high-performance routers and switches to managing telephone gateways and ensuring the cybersecurity of the office environment. If you possess "Problem-Solving Grit" and the technical discipline to maintain an audit-ready infrastructure, we want you to govern our technology.
Requirements:
1. Network Architecture & Telephony Governance
Active Infrastructure Management: Configure, manage, and maintain critical network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, ensuring seamless LAN/WAN performance.
Unified Communications: Oversee the installation and optimization of telephone gateways and VOIP systems to ensure uninterrupted internal and external communication.
Performance Tuning: Monitor bandwidth usage and network traffic to identify bottlenecks, implementing upgrades to stay ahead of the company's scaling needs.
2. Hardware Lifecycle & Technical Support
End-User Excellence: Provide advanced PC troubleshooting, software deployment, and hardware maintenance to ensure the team remains productive and technologically equipped.
Security Stewardship: Implement and monitor IT security best practices, protecting the network from unauthorized access and ensuring data integrity across all workstations.
Ad Hoc Advisory: Serve as the internal consultant for management on office technology needs, overseeing the integration of new hardware and software solutions.
3. Systems Integrity & Documentation
Asset Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, ensuring that hardware maintenance schedules are strictly followed to prevent failure.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain network redundancy protocols to ensure quick recovery in the event of hardware or service provider outages.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Document network configurations and IT policies to ensure consistency and ease of future scaling.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical program.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of core experience in network infrastructure and IT support.
Statutory Compliance: Must possess a valid NYSC Discharge Certificate or an Exemption Letter.
Certifications (Advantageous): Possession of Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or A+ will be highly regarded.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: Hands-on mastery of routers, switches, wireless systems, and telephone gateways.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex connectivity issues under pressure and implement long-term fixes.
