Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and detail-oriented Account & Operation Intern to anchor the foundational engine of our Lekki operations. In the specialized landscape of Lagos’ professional services, success is defined by "Fiscal Integrity", the ability to harmonize day-to-day accounting tasks with the clinical precision required for Bank Reconciliations, Expense Tracking, and Statutory Filing Support. This role is designed for a "Junior Architect" with a Degree or OND/HND who can blend "Analytical Grit" (managing petty cash and budget monitoring) with the "Operational Agility" required to support procurement and facility management.
Requirements:
1. Finance & Compliance Orchestration
Record Sovereignty: Assist in maintaining basic financial records and documentation with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Data Accuracy."
Compliance Architecture: Support the preparation of statutory filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension) under supervision, providing the "Structural Foundation" for regulatory standing.
Audit Stewardship: Help organize records for internal and external audits, ensuring the "Source of Financial Transparency" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Operations Logic
Treasury Sovereignty: Assist in petty cash management and bank reconciliations, acting as the primary "Source of Liquidity Oversight."
Procurement Architecture: Support vendor communication and inventory tracking, providing the "Functional Foundation" for seamless supply chain operations.
Asset Stewardship: Maintain records of company assets and perform routine facility checks, maintaining the "Source of Infrastructure Continuity."
3. Team Integrity & HR Power
HR Sovereignty: Assist with employee records, attendance tracking, and onboarding activities, acting as the primary "Source of Team Support."
Reporting Architecture: Prepare basic weekly/monthly reports on assigned tasks, providing the "Communication Foundation" for management decision-making.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Basic Accounting Principles and MS Excel to identify process improvements in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Administrative Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or OND/HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Status: Recent graduates or NYSC members are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience: 0–1 year of work or internship experience.
Software Mastery: Familiarity with MS Excel and basic accounting software is a distinct advantage.
