Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and reporting tools

• Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial targets

• Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to optimize project spending

• Support project managers in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities

• Prepare, review, and present cost reports to aid management decision-making

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and cost management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost control software/tools

• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in cost control, preferably within construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries
