Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and culturally savvy Content Creator to lead our digital storytelling and customer education efforts. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical pest control procedures and engaging consumer content. Your mission is to demystify pest control concepts, manage our social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and drive organic traffic through SEO-optimized writing. If you have a knack for visual storytelling and can communicate effectively in both English and Yoruba to reach our local audience, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

1. Educational Content & Storytelling

• Technical Simplification: Translate complex pest control concepts (e.g., chemical safety, life cycles of pests, prevention techniques) into easy-to-understand blog posts and articles.

• Local Engagement: Craft content that resonates with the local community, utilizing Yoruba language skills to build trust and broaden our reach.

• Accuracy: Collaborate directly with field technicians and sales teams to ensure all content is scientifically accurate and reflects real-world scenarios.

2. Digital Marketing & Multimedia Production

• Social Media Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring high engagement through platform-specific trends.

• Visual Design: Use Canva or Adobe Suite to design eye-catching graphics and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) for marketing campaigns.

• SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and optimize all written content to improve search engine rankings and drive inbound leads.

3. Performance Analytics & Strategy

• Data-Driven Adjustments: Use Google Analytics and social media insights to track content performance and pivot strategies based on what drives the most conversions.

• Project Management: Work independently to manage multiple content streams, from long-form articles to daily social updates, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience & Skills

• Proven Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.

• Technical Literacy: Basic proficiency in graphic design (Canva/Adobe Suite) and video editing software.

• SEO Mastery: Demonstrated knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools.

• Language & Culture: Must be able to speak and understand Yoruba fluently.

• Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail.
