Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, aesthetically-driven Content Creator to lead our digital storytelling across our Hair and Lifestyle brands. In the beauty space, content is our primary product. Your mission is to take our hair extensions, wigs, and haircare lines and turn them into "scroll-stopping" viral content that educates, inspires, and converts.
You will act as our in-house creative studio—ideating, filming, and editing content that ranges from technical hair installs to high-fashion lifestyle "vibes." If you are a social media native with 2–4 years of experience in the beauty/fashion niche and a portfolio full of high-retention Reels and TikToks, we want you to define our brand's aesthetic.
Requirements:
1. High-Impact Production & Storytelling
Short-Form Mastery: Ideate and produce Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that grab attention within the first 3 seconds.
Educational Content: Shoot and edit detailed product demos, "How-To" tutorials, and dramatic hair transformations that highlight the quality of our braids, wigs, and color trends.
Trend Agility: Monitor viral sounds and challenges daily to film and publish reactive content while the trend is peaking.
2. Platform Strategy & Execution
Format Optimization: Adapt visual assets for different platforms, ensuring the tone of a YouTube Short is distinct from a Pinterest pin or a TikTok challenge.
Copywriting for Conversion: Draft engaging captions optimized for SEO and engagement, ensuring every post has a clear path to purchase.
Consistency: Adhere strictly to the content calendar, ensuring a steady stream of high-quality output across all digital touchpoints.
3. Performance Analytics & Brand Integrity
Data-Driven Creativity: Track views, saves, and shares to identify which formats (e.g., "GRWM" vs. "Close-up Installs") drive the most ROI.
Aesthetic Governance: Ensure all content aligns with our premium brand tone, from color grading to the choice of background music.
Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to translate high-level campaign briefs into authentic, user-generated-style (UGC) content.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Media, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years specifically creating content for Beauty, Fashion, or Hair brands.
Technical IQ: Mastery of mobile editing (CapCut, InShot) and/or desktop suites (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere).
Portfolio: A mandatory portfolio showcasing diverse short-form video examples (before/afters, transitions, storytelling).
Core Competencies
On-Camera Presence: Highly comfortable and charismatic when appearing in videos or hosting demos.
Visual Aesthetic: A sharp eye for lighting, framing, and color trends in the hair and fashion industry.
Storytelling: Ability to develop "hooks" that reduce scroll-speed and increase watch time.
Platform Fluency: Deep understanding of the specific cultural nuances of TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
