We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Business Development Manager to anchor the revenue engine of Romanspage. In a specialized consulting landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the lead-relay and the precision of the value-filter success is defined by "Revenue Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-end service offerings (HR4SMEs, Learning, Consulting) with the clinical precision required for Lead Conversion, Partnership Engineering, and Strategic Market Expansion. This role is designed for a "Commercial Architect" specifically a leader with an HND/Degree/Master’s and a proven track record in Consulting or EdTech who can blend "Negotiation Grit" (closing deals with NGOs, hubs, and SMEs) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Conversion-Focused Marketing Oversight
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Revenue Governance
Sovereignty of the Pipeline: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial prospecting to contract execution, acting as the primary "Source of Revenue Security."
Acquisition Architecture: Lead high-stakes client acquisition efforts targeting SMEs, NGOs, and program partners, providing the "Structural Foundation" for firm growth.
Integrity Stewardship: Negotiate terms, scope, and pricing in clinical collaboration with management, ensuring the "Source of Commercial Profitability" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Relational Logic
Relationship Sovereignty: Serve as the primary relationship governor for key clients, acting as the primary "Source of Post-Engagement Retention."
Expansion Architecture: Identify new markets and strategic partnership opportunities (hubs, SME networks), providing the "Functional Foundation" for ecosystem influence.
Feedback Stewardship: Translate client insights into improved service offerings and packages, maintaining the "Source of Market Relevance."
3. Operational Integrity & Marketing Power
Marketing Sovereignty: Oversee the media team to ensure all activities are conversion-focused and aligned with sales priorities, acting as the primary "Source of Lead Generation Fidelity."
Performance Architecture: Track and report on leads, deals closed, and revenue generated, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-led targeting strategies.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Consulting and EdTech expertise to accelerate the "Pitch-to-Onboarding" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Institutional Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree.
Experience: Proven experience in business development or commercial roles, preferably within Consulting, EdTech, or SME Support Services.
Technical Power: Demonstrated track record of closing high-value deals and generating consistent revenue.
Marketing IQ: Experience managing or working closely with marketing teams to drive lead quality.
Specialization: Understanding of HR services, workforce development, or donor-funded program landscapes.
