Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Business Development Officer to anchor the growth engine of our Microfinance operations in Lekki and Sangotedo. In a specialized banking landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the deposit and the precision of the loan appraisal success is defined by "Capital Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize aggressive client acquisition with the clinical precision required for Credit Appraisals, Deposit Mobilization, and PAR (Portfolio at Risk) Management. This role is designed for a "Commercial Architect", specifically a professional with 2 to 4 years of banking experience who can blend "Sales Grit" (exceeding monthly mobilization targets) with the "Analytical Agility" required to execute Market Intelligence and Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Growth Governance
Sovereignty of Acquisition: Source new individual and corporate clients with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Market Penetration."
Mobilization Architecture: Market the bank’s deposit and loan products to meet set targets, providing the "Structural Foundation" for institutional liquidity.
Integrity Stewardship: Maintain an honest and ethical approach to sales, ensuring the "Source of Banking Trust" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Credit Logic
Lending Sovereignty: Conduct thorough credit appraisals and site visits, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Quality."
Portfolio Architecture: Evaluate loan applications and ensure high-quality disbursement, providing the "Functional Foundation" for a healthy loan book.
Recovery Stewardship: Monitor repayment schedules and maintain a healthy PAR, maintaining the "Source of Fiscal Stability."
3. Operational Integrity & Relationship Power
Relational Sovereignty: Manage existing client relationships to drive referrals and repeat business, acting as the primary "Source of Customer Lifetime Value."
Intelligence Architecture: Track market trends and competitor activities, providing the "Relational Foundation" for continuous product improvement.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2–4 years of Microfinance expertise to accelerate the "Lead-to-Deposit" and "Application-to-Disbursement" cycles, maximizing the "Source of Bank Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2 – 4 years of active experience in marketing/business development within a Microfinance or Commercial Bank.
Technical Power: Strong understanding of Micro-lending, credit risk assessment, and proficiency in MS Excel.
Location: Must be able to operate effectively in Lekki & Sangotedo, Lagos.
