Requirements:
1. Portfolio Growth & Client Onboarding
Business Development: Proactively identify and acquire new clients and small businesses, expanding Stanbic IBTC’s market footprint.
Retention Strategy: Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and minimizing churn.
Profitability Driving: Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within your portfolio to maximize the bank’s share of the client's wallet.
2. Technical Operations & Compliance
Account Governance: Oversee the end-to-end account opening and maintenance process, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and internal standards.
Systems Proficiency: Utilize product-related systems for accurate data entry, transaction tracking, and submission verification.
Risk Management: Maintain a deep understanding of financial products and risks to ensure all client advice and transactions are compliant.
3. Strategic Client Advisory
Customer Insight: Conduct deep-dive analysis into client business models to provide tailored financial product recommendations.
Data Interpretation: Analyze market trends and client data to develop bespoke growth strategies for your portfolio.
Collaborative Leadership: Work effectively with internal teams (Credit, Operations, and Products) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Minimum of a First Degree in any field from a recognized institution.
Proven Tenure: 3 – 6 years of experience in the financial services sector.
Industry Focus: Cognate experience in Sales and Relationship Management, specifically managing Small Businesses (SMEs).
Core Competencies
Technical: Mastery of account opening procedures, product-related systems, and credit/product knowledge.
Behavioral: High proficiency in generating ideas, developing strategies, interpreting complex data, and convincing stakeholders.
Interpersonal: Exceptional team-working skills and a "customer-first" mindset.
