Job Description:

Contec Global Group is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Accounts Officer to join our core finance team. In this role, you will be the engine of our financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is processed with surgical precision and that our fiscal records remain beyond reproach.

Requirements:

1. Transactional Integrity & Ledger Management

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Execute the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all invoices are verified and recorded within strict timelines.

• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain meticulous financial records, ensuring that all data entry aligns with international accounting standards and company protocols.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively investigate and resolve inconsistencies in financial documents to prevent downstream reporting errors.

2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Bank & Asset Reconciliation: Perform rigorous monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the organization’s cash positions are accurate and transparent.

• Period-End Support: Assist the Senior Finance team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Data Synthesis: Transform raw transactional data into structured financial insights for internal stakeholders.

3. Compliance & Stakeholder Relations

• Policy Governance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to Contec Global Group’s internal controls and relevant local tax and accounting regulations.

• Vendor & Client Liaison: Serve as a professional point of contact for vendor and client inquiries, resolving payment or billing issues with diplomacy and speed.

• Audit Readiness: Maintain an organized and transparent filing system (both digital and physical) to ensure seamless internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.

• Software Stack: Expert proficiency in accounting ERPs (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage) is mandatory.

• Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas).
