Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Administrator to oversee the operational backbone of our institution. This role is responsible for the seamless coordination of academic schedules, the integrity of student records, and ensuring strict compliance with PSCFM and university regulations. You will serve as the central link between faculty, students, and management, ensuring that the academic calendar is executed without friction. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in educational administration and the professional poise to manage complex examination processes and faculty coordination.
Requirements:
1. Academic Coordination & Scheduling
Calendar Management: Design and coordinate the master academic schedule, ensuring optimal course delivery and room utilization.
Faculty Support: Act as the primary administrative liaison for faculty, coordinating academic meetings and providing the necessary documentation for course delivery.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all academic operations remain in strict alignment with PSCFM (Professional Schools & Colleges Financial Management) standards and university-specific regulations.
2. Student Records & Examination Management
Records Integrity: Manage and safeguard student academic records, ensuring 100% accuracy in data entry and retrieval.
Examination Oversight: Lead the coordination of examination processes, from invigilation scheduling to the secure processing and documentation of results.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive academic reports and documentation for management and regulatory audits.
3. Operational Excellence
Digital Management: Utilize academic management systems and MS Office to streamline administrative workflows and reporting.
Meeting Secretariat: Serve as the secretary for academic board meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and resolutions are tracked for implementation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration. (A Postgraduate qualification in Education Administration is a significant advantage).
Proven Tenure: Demonstrated experience in academic or educational administration within a reputable institution.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for records) and familiarity with modern Academic Management Systems.
Logistics & Availability
Location: Must reside in the Lagos Island axis, specifically: Lekki, Ajah, Badore, Ado Road, Ogombo Town, Victoria Island, Dolphin Estate, or Ikoyi.
Readiness: Successful candidates must be ready to resume immediately.
