Job Description:

  • Pack’N’Pay is looking for a Social Media Officer who is passionate about storytelling, online engagement, and brand building.
  • This role involves creating, scheduling, and managing engaging content  for Pack’N’Pay’s social media platforms to boost brand awareness, customer interaction, and digital  growth. You will work both remotely and on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop creative and relevant content for Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Schedule and publish posts to maintain consistent brand visibility.
  • Create short videos, graphics, and written posts tailored to different audiences.

Engagement & Community Building:

  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries on social platforms.
  • Foster a loyal online community through active engagement.
  • Collaborate with customer service to address online complaints or feedback.

Analytics & Growth:

  • Monitor and report social media performance metrics weekly/monthly.
  • Track trends, hashtags, and viral opportunities to boost reach.
  • Suggest and implement strategies to grow followers and engagement rates.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing and digital teams to align campaigns.
  • Support offline events with live social media coverage.

Requirements:

  • Creative and trend-savvy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly responsive and adaptable
  • Organised with attention to detail

Qualifications and Skills:

  • OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand.
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
  • Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and algorithms.
  • Ability to work both remotely and on-site.
