Furthermore, you will act as a strategic advisor to cross-functional squads (Sales, Product, and Data Engineering) to safely co-engineer high-growth credit products.
Requirements:

Deal Diagnostics: Execute deep-dive financial and non-financial analysis, structural due diligence, and comprehensive risk assessments on high-value SME and corporate loan applications up to ₦5 Billion.
Financial Architecture Auditing: Review audited financial statements, tax records, corporate bank statements, and cash flow footprints to evaluate debtor liquidity, leverage ratios, and fundamental enterprise viability.
Predictive Risk Modeling: Design and execute complex corporate projection modeling and macro sensitivity stress tests to verify repayment capacities against sudden market shocks, inflationary cycles, and sector headwinds.
C-Suite Memo Engineering: Transform raw financial analyses into highly polished, comprehensive Credit Approval Memorandums, presenting technical risk assessments directly to Senior Management and Executive Risk Committees for loan sanctioning.
2. Portfolio Health Management & Loss Optimization
Lending Threshold Definition: Partner with the CRO and Head of Credit Risk Analytics to constantly evaluate, define, and re-calibrate credit underwriting parameters and sector concentration limits.
Forensic Performance Audits: Conduct regular credit reviews, seasonal portfolio monitoring, and ad-hoc deep-dives to track sector performance metrics against corporate risk appetites.
Bad Debt Diagnosis: Lead rigorous, periodic reviews of specific bad debts and non-performing loans (NPLs), reverse-engineering default drivers to continually improve structural risk-mitigation frameworks.
3. Framework Innovation & Ecosystem Collaboration
Underwriting Strategy Evolution: Act as a primary change-agent to elevate the maturity of the underwriting framework, digitizing traditional risk processes and adopting global credit evaluation standards.
Cross-Functional Co-Engineering: Work in lockstep with Sales, Product Development, and Data Engineering teams to review credit datasets, pilot risk initiatives, and guide new strategic product releases safely to market.
Risk Education: Mentor and educate internal business teams on underwriting standards, driving a high-maturity risk-aware culture from early deal origination down to transaction structuring.
