Lagos, Nigeria | Posted on 19/05/2026

About Company:

"Established in 2016, Kennedia Consulting Limited is a premier advisory and professional services firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to empowering organizations across the nation. We specialize in building robust people systems and driving operational excellence. Our comprehensive suite of services includes HR consulting, recruitment, learning and development, and payroll management. We partner with fast-growing SMEs and established corporations alike, providing strategic guidance and operational support that transforms workforces, enhances decision-making, and fosters sustainable growth.

Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptionally sharp, numerically elite, and strategic Corporate Finance Analyst to join our financial advisory division in Lagos. Operating as a core engine for corporate valuation and market intelligence, you will hold absolute operational accountability for constructing complex financial architectures bridging the gap between raw corporate transactional data and high-level investment decisions.

This role demands far more than basic bookkeeping or accounting; it requires a predictive financial engineer who can build dynamic projection models from scratch, stress-test capital allocation structures, and evaluate large-scale investment opportunities. You will serve as a strategic advisor to executive management and corporate clients translating market trends, competitor footprints, and financial metrics into actionable insights that protect margins, maximize profitability, and de-risk corporate investments.

Requirements:

1. Advanced Financial Modeling & Valuation Architecture

  • Dynamic Model Engineering: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated, integrated financial models (3-statement models, DCF, LBO, and M&A simulations) to project corporate cash flows, evaluate capital structures, and support strategic corporate decisions.

  • 2. Strategic Budgeting, Forecasting & Capital Allocation

  • Fiscal Planning Architecture: Support the end-to-end design and coordination of annual corporate budgeting, mid-term forecasting, and long-range strategic planning workflows across diverse business units.

  • Variance Diagnostics: Monitor financial performance metrics, conducting deep monthly and quarterly budget-versus-actual variance analyses to rapidly flag capital leakages, cost overruns, or revenue shortfalls.

  • 3. Investment Evaluation & Corporate Intelligence

  • Deal-Screening: Conduct rigorous financial and commercial due diligence on potential investment opportunities, joint ventures, acquisitions, and greenfield projects to isolate systemic risks.

  • Competitive Benchmarking: Lead deep-dive market, sector, and competitor research, tracking industry yield curves, market-share distribution, and macroeconomic indicators to position the company ahead of market shifts.

  • 4. Executive Reporting & Management Insights

  • C-Suite Board Packs: Compile and present highly polished, visually compelling financial reports, pitch decks, and investment memos for executive steering committees, institutional investors, and board-level sponsors.

  • Strategic Commentary: Translate complex algorithmic data models into clear, qualitative management commentaries, providing deep context on the "how" and "why" behind financial trends.

  •
  • Performance Ingestion: Analyze historical and real-time business unit performance data, diagnosing operational efficiency metrics (e.g., ROIC, ROE, EBITDA margins) to identify margin-expansion vectors.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Academic Tracks

  • Degree Baseline: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a strictly related quantitative/mathematical discipline from an accredited tertiary institution.

  • Professional Edge: Active validation or progressive candidate status in global professional frameworks—such as the CFA Charter (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), or advanced corporate modeling charters (e.g., FMVA)—will be treated as a dominant competitive advantage.

Experience & Sector Footprint

  • Domain Longevity: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive, verifiable experience operating as a Corporate Finance Analyst, Investment Banking Analyst, Financial Advisory Consultant, or Strategic Planning Analyst.

  • Deal Footprint: Direct exposure executing financial modeling or transaction advisory within a structured management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity fund, or corporate finance department of a large multinational is highly required.

Salary
