Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile IT Support Officer to manage our technology infrastructure and digital presence at our Abuja office. This is a unique hybrid role designed for a tech-savvy professional who can maintain the "back-end" stability of our retail operations while contributing to the "front-end" creative storytelling of our fashion brand.
You will be the primary guardian of our systems, ensuring zero downtime for our POS and e-commerce platforms, while also leveraging digital tools to drive customer engagement. If you are a problem-solver who can fix a network lag in the morning and optimize a Shopify integration or Meta campaign in the afternoon, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Technical Infrastructure & Support
First-Line Resolution: Provide immediate technical troubleshooting for staff across hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure seamless office and store operations.
Retail Systems Management: Maintain and optimize Point of Sale (POS) systems and digital tools essential for inventory and sales tracking.
Network & Security: Monitor firewalls, update antivirus software, and manage data backups to ensure strict cybersecurity compliance and data integrity.
2. E-commerce & Digital Presence
Platform Management: Support e-commerce updates (Shopify/WooCommerce) to ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
Social Media Operations: Utilize tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Buffer to manage digital assets and schedule high-impact fashion content.
Digital Storytelling: Apply a creative eye to fashion content development, ensuring our digital assets align with the brand's aesthetic and narrative.
3. Operational Efficiency & Reporting
Incident Documentation: Maintain a log of IT incidents and resolutions to identify recurring patterns and implement long-term preventive solutions.
Security & Compliance: Ensure safe storage of digital assets and enforce file security protocols to protect intellectual property.
Process Innovation: Recommend and implement digital tools that improve workflow efficiency within a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience: 1–5 years of experience in IT support. Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a significant advantage.
Hybrid Skillset: Proven experience in both technical troubleshooting and social media/content management.
Core Competencies
Tech Mastery: Strong understanding of networking, hardware maintenance, and OS troubleshooting.
Creative Tools: Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify/WooCommerce).
Agility: Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-energy fashion environment.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for both technical reporting and customer engagement.
